Measure Vehicles and Custom Builds in Place
Portable 3D measurement for custom fab, truck-body and restoration shops
The Resolute FP8000 Series brings measurement to the vehicle instead of the vehicle to a measuring room. Set up anywhere to capture the features you want.
What Shops Use It For
- Part inspection and QC against drawings or CAD
- Fit checks on the vehicle before final welding or paint
- Aftermarket part design and fitment
- Conversion and upfit layouts for vans, truck bodies and service bodies
- Interior reconfiguration
- Fixture and jig setup
- Reverse engineering existing parts into Rhino3D
- Vehicle collision evaluation
Probe Only the Points You Need
Other handheld measurement tools capture millions of points, and someone has to clean them up before they’re useful. With Resolute, you touch the probe to the features that matter (a hole, an edge, a mounting face) and get those coordinates instantly in your CAD model as you measure.
Built for the Shop Floor
- No arm to mount or reposition. Move freely around the vehicle.
- Wired or wireless. USB, or fully wireless on battery.
- Works with the bay door open. An automatic shutter adjusts for bright bays and outdoor work.
- Dust covers protect the lenses between jobs.
- First points in under 10 minutes, setup guides included.
